Comment policy
Comments are moderated before they appear. Here is what gets through and what does not.

What we want
- Disagreement, especially well-argued disagreement with our analysis.
- Corrections. If we got something wrong, say so and we will fix it.
- Context and expertise the article missed.
- Questions.
What gets removed
- Financial promotion. No touting, no pump-and-dump, no "DM me for signals", no referral links to brokers or exchanges. This is the fastest way to get removed.
- Anything presented as investment advice. Share your reasoning, not instructions.
- Personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, or threats.
- Spam, SEO link-dropping, and off-topic self-promotion.
- Impersonation of real people or organisations.
- Deliberate misinformation about market-moving events.
How moderation works
Every comment passes through automated spam checks and then a human review queue before it appears. This usually takes a few hours. Nothing is published instantly, which means the discussion moves more slowly here than elsewhere — that is a deliberate trade.
We do not edit the text of comments. We either publish them or we do not. Comments held or removed do not receive an individual explanation.
Your data
A display name is required. Email and website are optional; email is used only for your Gravatar and is stored as an irreversible hash. We never store raw IP addresses. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Removal requests
Want a comment of yours deleted? Email hello@example.com from the address you used, or include enough detail to identify the comment, and we will remove it.
